My Story

Mr Jun Liu (also known as Liu Jiang by listeners) is a professionally
trained radio broadcaster with nearly 30 years’ experience in the trade.
He obtained his bachelor degree in Broadcasting Journalism from China
Media University (formerly known as Beijing Broadcasting Institute) in
1982, and was employed in the same year by the China National Radio,
where he worked until 1991, when he resigned from his position as senior
producer/journalist and came to Australia to study for his master's
degree at the University of Tasmania in order to broaden his knowledge
    and experience.

In the same year he commenced work with ABC’s Radio
Australia, continuing with 17 years of loyal service until his
resignation in early 2008. Soon after, he was invited to be a part of
the Mandarin section of SBS in Melbourne, where he has enjoyed working
with the rest of the team, contributing to the Mandarin programs and
    interacting with listeners.
